Welcome to IRESOI Institute

A space dedicated to self-awareness, the quality of our relationships, and the emergence of a collective consciousness. The Institute offers teaching and coaching to support individuals and organizations on this journey.

Just as every drop of water in the ocean is unique, while at the same time inseparable from the vastness to which it belongs, every human being carries within them this dual need: to feel deeply unique, precious, and individual, while also experiencing an intimate sense of connection to something greater than themselves. For these two dimensions to come fully into awareness, it is essential to be able to grow within a supportive environment where one feels loved, seen, and welcomed exactly as one is.

The Institute creates this nurturing space for the emergence of the self through small-group sessions, in which each person commits to first directing their attention toward the qualities of the others. Just as the ocean reflects the light of the sun, the loving gaze that people offer one another helps reveal each person’s inner light. Over time, these waves of love gently polish the rougher facets of the personality, allowing them to shine in turn. At the Institute, we call this the soul mirroring.

The Institute’s motto, “Truth is Beautiful,” brings us together and guides us. When relational tensions arise, each person commits to going beyond the other’s positions and reactions, seeking instead to understand the deeper value they are trying to uphold. When these values are recognized and honored, a space of harmony can emerge.

From this perspective, a problem is no longer simply an obstacle to be solved: it becomes a sign that an awareness is seeking to emerge—a precious gift that can continue to accompany us beyond the challenge itself. The relationship becomes a path toward self-knowledge, transformation, and an opening to a broader consciousness.

History of the Institute

The history of the Iresoi Institute draws its expertise in relational dynamics from a solid experience of community living.

The two founders, Cristallin Toullec and Norma Houberdon, have respectively 10 and 40 years of experience living in an intentional community. This experience provided them with an intense learning environment to overcome the everyday human tensions exacerbated by this collective lifestyle.

In 2013, they began their collaborative research to explore how to create a relational environment conducive to the development of consciousness. From these exchanges and reflections emerged psychological concepts and tools that they wanted to share with the world by creating the Iresoi Institute in 2019.

Since then, around twenty people have joined them to create a community of awareness. All have been trained in the Institute's tools and have experienced the inner processes themselves. Together, these practitioners form the Iresoi Institute team, which now supports individuals, groups, communities, and organizations on their journey toward more conscious relationships and a more harmonious way of living and evolving together.
